You Are Loved! You Are Special!
You probably do not have any idea how very loved you are, how very much the Creator delights in you and wants to spend time with you. The One who created the universe created the very unique personality who is you.
You were a good idea God had, thought up by Him in the very depths of His heart to satisfy His longing for fellowship. No one else in the world can fill that place in His heart that only you can fill. And no one else in the world can fill that place in your heart that only He can fill. You were created for Love Himself.
He planted that perfect picture of you in the loins of the first man , planned that picture to come to pass in the physical universe at just the right time in the history of the Earth.
When mankind fell away from oneness with God, that picture of you got distorted over the years and through the generations. And you have never quite been able to experience the life that, deep in your heart, you know belongs to you. But didn’t you always feel that the picture, that perfect picture of the real you, that perfect life that would satisfy every longing, exists somewhere? Well, if you did, you were right!
When the time was right, God sent Jesus Christ to take all distortions into Himself and let them die with Him on the cross of Calvary. And God Himself, the Father of all individual existence, was in Christ Jesus, not holding the wrongdoing of individuals or generations or the entire race of mankind against them.
That distorted picture of you was crucified with Christ. And when He was raised from the dead, the perfect picture of you, that perfected life that you have longed for, the one that will fulfill all the desires of your heart, was in Him, bought back from destruction.
That life is now yours as you receive it. You may have already received the beginnings of that life by accepting Jesus as your Savior, believing that He died for you, so that you may have life everlasting.
But you are not walking in that perfect life yet. Very few of us are even experiencing one fourth of the blessings that Jesus died to give us. One reason for that is that we know we don’t deserve them. But that is the glory of it!
You don’t deserve blessings – nobody does. That is right! Nobody deserves the blessing of God except Jesus. But He gave up the blessings He deserved and suffered and died so that you could have the blessings without deserving them.
Isaiah 53:11 says that one day Jesus shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul and be satisfied. That day will come when you know the fullness of God’s love for you and receive all the undeserved blessings that He bought for you. "Jesus…for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame…” Hebrews 12:2 The joy set before Jesus was YOU, forgiven of your sins, healed of your diseases, redeemed from destruction, crowned with lovingkindness and tender mercies, satisfied with good so that your youth is renewed. Psalm 103:1-5
You are loved!!! You are special!!! Enter into the Joy of the Lord by letting His Love bring to you all the wonderful things He has promised you.
